Reconciliation Package Includes Unprecedented $555 Billion To Address Climate Change

Objectivity 3.3 | Credibility 3.7 | Relevance 4.5

The latest version of the budget reconciliation package includes a historic $555 billion over ten years to address climate change. The spending rewards companies that transition from fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas to alternative energy sources such as wind and solar. Companies that convert from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles would also receive subsidies. $105 billion will go towards preventing more extreme weather events, such as heatwaves and floods.
