Pennsylvania School Board Association Withdraws from the National School Board Association

Objectivity 4.5 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.6

The Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA) withdrew from the Nation School Board Association (NASB) after NASB sent a letter to the Biden Administration asking for federal intervention at school board meetings. PASB responded to the letter with a statement that said, “attempting to solve the problems with a call for federal intervention is not the place to begin, nor a model for promoting greater civility and respect for the democratic process.” PSBA highlighted their objection stating, “The most recent national controversy surrounding a letter to President Biden suggesting that some parents should be considered domestic terrorists was the final straw.”
