The number of Covid19 cases per 100,000 people sits at five in non mask mandate Orange County, while Los Angeles County in which there is a mask mandate, has nine cases per 100,000 people, SFGate reported Monday. The two counties have identical hospitalization rates per 100,000 people, at six cases each. The two counties also have a similar vaccination rate, the outlet reported. This seems to indicate that masks are useless against Covid 19.
