Joe Manchin reaffirmed where he stands on changing the filibuster rule, saying he refuses to change it over the dispute to raise the debt ceiling. Democrats want to create an exception to the 60 votes requirement rule to continue a discussion if there is a filibuster. “The filibuster has nothing to do with debt ceiling. Basically, we have other tools that we can use and if we have to use them we should use them” Manchin said on Wednesday.
