The Taliban decided they now want someone new to represent them at the UN because they no longer recognize President Ashraf Ghani as the leader of the country or Ghulam Isaczai, the man Ghani has placed as Afghan ambassador to the UN. This poses an interesting problem to the UN because many of the Taliban are on their watch list as terrorists.
