Texas Approves Another Law Banning Abortions

Texas Gov. Greg Abbot signed a bill into law restricting the use of drug inducing abortions after seven weeks into a pregnancy. Although Abbot signed the Bill on Sept. 2, it would come into effect on December with fines up to $10,000 and possible imprisonment. This comes as a doctor challenged the Texas Heart Beat Bill that bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected. The doctor in the article is being sued, which will be the first suit the Heartbeat Bill will take on.
