Persecution is Inevitable For Afghan Christians

Objectivity 3.5 | Credibility 4.3 | Relevance 4.6

Now that the Taliban have gained control of the country, widespread fear among religious minorities, especially Christians are worried about an increase in persecution. A non-profit persecution watchdog, International Christian Concern (ICC), recently spoke with an Afghan church leader about the serious dangers confronting people of faith in the war-torn country. The anonymous church leader said the Taliban will likely take children away from Christian families and turn them into sex slaves and Islamic fighters and anyone who does not adhere to the militants demands risk the chance of being killed. Let our weapon of prayer be used to combat persecution our Middle Eastern brothers and sisters are facing.
