Deadly Wildfires Causing Chaos in Greece

In Athens, Evia, and Lackonia, wildfires have burned more than 650,000 acres of land after Greece experienced temperatures of 117 F for over a week. Some inhabitants of the islands escaped on boats and ferries, but many animals did not survive the flames. While the Prime Minister Mitsotakis blamed the fires on climate change,  some local residents pointed to forestry mismanagement and failed leadership.
