Fighting for Students’ and Teachers’ Religious Freedom in the Highest Court

In 2015, former Washignton state high school football coach, Joseph Kennedy, was fired over his post-game prayers. Although Kennedy’s prayers were personal, school officials were worried that those prayers might give the appearance that the district endorsed a particular religion. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit agreed with this anti-Christian assessment. But five years later, Joseph Kennedy is still fighting for his religious liberty by taking his case to the Supreme Court. Let’s join Kennedy in prayer that justice will prevail.
