This week, White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted that the Biden administration was “working with Facebook” to identify and remove “misinformation” from the platform. This admission came the same week that President Biden alleged that “Facebook is killing people.” In other words, the Biden administration is actively pressuring social media companies to echo its prerogatives. The revelation that government operatives and social media giants are collaborating to identify and de-platform dissenting voices is a serious threat to our first-amendment right of free speech.
